Project 4 - IDEA SKETCHES

When I think about surrealism, the first thing that comes to mind are my dreams.  To me surrealism is defined by showing something on the page that really only be seen in dreams.  There is no physical way surrealism can occur because what is seen often defies reality.  Like M.C. Escher’s endless staircase it is an illusion of the mind that cannot occur in reality.   So it is this idea that inspires my project.

This is the finished product of Project 3.  I think it turned out pretty well.  The Idea was to use my initials to create a digital themed logo.  The intended use for the logo would be for a proposed future company of mine.  The purpose of the company would be digital creations and so I thought creating a logo that was simple in design would be best.  My initials describe who I am and then the style of the logo describes what I do and I feel that those two points are conveyed through the logo.
